Alouettes bring back Charleston Rambo

The Montreal Alouettes announced Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with American wide receiver Charleston Rambo, who spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the team.

Montreal, September 8, 2026 – The Montreal Alouettes announced Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with American wide receiver Charleston Rambo. He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the team.

Rambo (6'1", 185 lbs) impressed during his rookie season with the Alouettes in 2024, recording 808 yards and five touchdowns on 61 receptions. He played in every game for the team, including the East Final.

Last season, Rambo caught 54 passes for 585 yards and three touchdowns in 17 games. In the Grey Cup game, he recorded 50 yards on four receptions.

The former University of Miami Hurricane also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles organizations. He played for Orlando in the XFL.

“We’ve just added a solid receiver to our roster,” said General Manager Danny Maciocia. “We know what he is capable of doing on the field, and he will join an already very talented group. Rambo knows our system, our players and our coaches, so his addition will be a very smooth one. We’re excited to have him back with us.”
